This piece portrays the transmission of energy between two beings. When you're struggling, sometimes connecting with just one person makes all the difference.

When I was at rock bottom with mental health and drug addiction, I wasn't able to properly connect with other people. In fact I tried to keep everyone at arm's length. It felt easier to keep my pain hidden than to risk being vulnerable and letting others see how much I was struggling.
